Elliott needed to be in St. Louis the week of June 17 for a Monsanto conference. Since Keri's work schedule was pretty busy that week, they decided to send Elly along to visit her Grandparents. Leah is off for the summer, so she could watch Elly while the rest of us toiled. Elly got to know her cousin Lilly and they had a great time together. Grandma and Grandpa also had a great time playing with the grand-kids.
Elliott documented the trip with regular photo updates as the trip progressed.
Here's Elliott's checking out the travel carrier.
Going through security. Looks like Elly is stashing something in her mouth to avoid confiscation.
On the plane ready to travel.

Elly in the pool
Elliott was on the varsity swim team at Notre Dame. Keri was on the varsity swim team all through high school. Therefore, Elly has got to have some nautical genes. She was enrolled in water babies and has recently started going with her Dad to the classes to get wet. Elly enjoyed the water and I'm sure she will follow in her parents foot steps.
Elly at 6 Months
June marked Elly's 6 month anniversary. Elly is one photogenic baby and here are pictures to prove it. She always has a great smile; or at least they only take pictures when she is smiling.
What?? I didn't do anything!
Grazin' in the grass is a gas, can you dig it.
Check out these leopard pants.
My rocker side is showing.
Just chillin' on the bed.

Lilly at 8 and 9 months
My posting is way behind. We have gotten lots of Elly and Lilly pictures and they have to be collected and posted. Here are some of Lilly's 8 and 9 month anniversary pictures.
These are the 8 month pictures. As you can see, she was hungry and decided to eat the 8 month sticker Leah had stuck to her tummy. It's funny how kids eat the stuff they are not supposed to and don't eat the stuff they should.
And here are recent 9 month pictures. I guess she wasn't hungry when these were taken.

Lilly Pad Gets Wet
Leah and Andy signed Lilly up for Water Babies, a Y program to introduce 6 month and older babies to the water. This is a great program as it gets kids used the water and into swimming at a young age. Lilly loves the water and enjoyed her time, even taking the dunking with grace. Leah, who swam in high school, also got solicited to work at the Y in their swimming program. They plan to continue the program.
